1960 Corvette
This 1960 Chevrolet Corvette Custom Convertible underwent a two-year C1/C7 build beginning with a complete body-off restoration. The fiberglass body was mounted on a rotisserie, cleaned, primed, and modified with a smoothed cowl, firewall, and inner fenders, along with Kindig flush-mount handles and a smooth belly pan.
After multiple primer and blocking stages, the car was finished in Meadow Mist Green with linen white coves and four coats of House of Kolors Show Clear.
A new stage 3 C1/C7 chassis from Chassis Concepts was powder-coated bright silver and equipped with C7 Brembo 14-inch slotted and drilled brakes with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers.
The suspension features C7 spindles, upper and lower control arms, and a Detroit Speed power rack and pinion.
Power comes from a blueprint LS3 engine producing 535 horsepower, paired with a gear star 4L60E automatic transmission and an Inland Empire aluminum driveshaft. Additional components include a carbon-fiber intake and a Matson polished aluminum radiator with a high performance fan.
The interior is finished in Italian Linen hand-rubbed leather with a smooth custom dash, Dakota Digital gauges, a custom Corvette Dynamics leather-wrapped console, and a control tower housing Vintage Air controls and a bluetooth audio system.
Nu Relics power windows, Wise Guys leather-wrapped seats with recline and extended travel, and German Square Weave wool carpeting complete the cabin. Green-tinted glass compliments the exterior, and a tan Al Knoch convertible top is installed over a restored frame painted to match the interior. This one of a kind custom corvette blends C1 styling with modern C7 performance and comfort.
