Pro-Touring Van Nuys built, rust free Camaro with fresh two-year build.
Powered by a GM Performance LS 6.2-liter V8 engine with Edlebrock Pro Injection, a CVF Racing front runner system, MSD coils and a Holley low profile oil pan.
Power is routed to the pavement via a TREMEC T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic easy pedal clutch, Moser 9-inch TruTrac differential with 3.71 gearing.
The custom one-off Camaro uses a Speedtech Performance front clip with special tubular upper and lower control arms as well as Viking triple adjustable coilovers.
The rear suspension uses a TCI torsion tube 4-link with special stabilizers and Strange coilovers.
Stopping power is provided by a set of Wilwood disc brakes with 13-inch rotors and 6-piston calipers up front and 4-piston calipers in the rear. The rear brakes also feature an internal e-brake and steering comes courtesy of a power rack & pinion set up.
The rust-free body was smoothed, and the metal finished using DTM primer/surfacer and PPG granite gray with 10% extra fine pearls added. The body was upgraded with Kindig-It Design flush mount door handles, custom steel stinger hood and one-off billet Grille.
The under carriage was smoothed and painted to match the cars exterior color.
Shaded gray Dakota glass compliments the flush mount Pinkerton windshield and rear window.
The Interior is one-off premium Wine-Red leather comprised of six hides and the cabin is covered in German Square Weave wool carpeting.
A custom center console with Infinity audio controller and viewing screen for engine performance, navigation and internet capability. The interior also features a set of Dakota Digital HDX gauges, Vintage Air Gen IV climate control and Dynamat Extreme for sound and heat protection.
The Camaro’s trunk was also custom upholstered to match interior.
The Resto-Mod Camaro features a staggered stance and rides on Billet Specialties Speedway wheels measuring with 18×8-inch front wheels wrapped in in 225×40 series Toyo Tires and 20×13-inch wheels with 315×35 Toyo Tire fitted into custom mini tubs in the rear.
The Camaro also features American Auto custom wire harness with 23 circuits with LED lighting and custom sequential LED taillights.
This one-off build was produced the first day of Camaro production at the Van Nuys manufacturing plant and was build #42.
